Beach reclamation in Caye Caulker underway

wow…too bad all beach dredgeing…on the cayes, directly destroys the coral reef…..

”sustaijnable developement”…absolutely no regaurd for the ecology.
the silt barriors….reduces silt…..yes….by only about 15%….[as this video clearly shows]….disgracefull
when will mankind learn……?
belize has earth movers/loaders….belize has barges and tug boats…and belize has main-”LAND”…..[might it not be a better win-win....to bring that ''LAND'' out to the caye..?]
a project to ‘enhance’ the beach for the tourists…. should not ‘risk ‘the coral reef….which brings those tourists…!!!
